Fees for condo associations vary significantly based on the building and services provided.

  • Building Age and Renovations: While initial development began in the late 1950s/early 1960s, many older homes have undergone extensive renovations or have been replaced by new luxury custom builds, contributing to a mix of architectural styles.

  • Pet Policy: Pet policies vary significantly across the numerous condominium associations within The Moorings. While single-family homes generally have more flexibility, specific condo buildings may have restrictions on pet type, number, or size. The MPOA does not allow animals at the private beach park or on the beach itself.

  • Rental Policy: Rental policies are determined by individual condominium associations and HOAs. Common restrictions include minimum lease terms (e.g., 30 days, 90 days, or longer) and may require tenant application and approval processes. The MPOA also has a lease fee per rental and limits on the number of renters per calendar year.

Additionally, many condominium associations offer their residents access to clubhouses, exercise rooms, and tennis courts.
