ABOUT OPUS STONE

Opus Stone is an intimate gated community of luxury single-family homes in North Naples, located near Vanderbilt Beach Road and Massey Street. Set across more than 50 acres, the neighborhood is distinguished by generously sized homesites, lake and preserve settings and contemporary architecture that incorporates modern farmhouse influences. With only about 50 residences, Opus Stone offers a much smaller-scale residential environment than many of Naples' master-planned communities.

Homes within Opus Stone were developed by Seagate Development Group and Pulte Homes, creating two distinct levels of residential offerings within the same gated neighborhood. Residences range from spacious luxury homes to larger custom estate properties, with private pools, generous lanais, attached multi-car garages and indoor-outdoor living playing an important role in the designs. Rather than supporting a large community clubhouse or recreational complex, Opus Stone emphasizes the individual residences, larger homesites and convenient North Naples location.

Why People Like the Opus Stone Community

  • Intimate Gated Setting: With only about 50 residences, Opus Stone offers a much smaller neighborhood environment than most Naples master-planned communities.

  • Generous Homesites: Lots are substantially larger than those found in many newer Naples developments, providing room for private pools, outdoor living and greater separation between residences.

  • Distinctive Architecture: Contemporary and modern farmhouse influences, including high-pitched rooflines and large windows, give the neighborhood a recognizable architectural identity.

  • Luxury and Estate Home Options: The combination of Pulte and Seagate residences provides buyers with different levels of size, customization and luxury.

  • Lake and Preserve Settings: Homesites are positioned to take advantage of lake, preserve and landscaped views throughout the neighborhood.

  • North Naples Convenience: Shopping, dining, golf, beaches and major roadways are readily accessible from the community.

What You Need to Know About Living in Opus Stone

  • There Are Two Distinct Residential Offerings: Seagate and Pulte developed different homes within Opus Stone, so buyers should evaluate the construction, specifications, finishes and features of the individual residence rather than assuming all homes are comparable.

  • There Is a Mandatory HOA: Buyers should review current association fees, reserves, maintenance responsibilities and governing documents when evaluating ownership.

  • There Is No CDD: Opus Stone is marketed without a Community Development District assessment, an important distinction when comparing it with some other newer Naples communities.

  • There Is No Central Recreational Complex: Buyers should not expect a community clubhouse, swimming pool, fitness center or racquet-sports facilities.

  • Private Amenities Are an Important Part of the Lifestyle: Individual residences can include private pools, spas, outdoor kitchens, expansive lanais and other recreational features.

  • Current Rules Should Be Verified: Leasing, pets, architectural modifications, parking and other property-use requirements should be reviewed through current association documents.

OPUS STONE AMENITIES

Opus Stone takes a distinctly different approach to amenities than Naples' larger resort-style developments. The community does not have a centralized clubhouse, community swimming pool, fitness center, golf course or racquet-sports complex. Instead, the neighborhood is designed around spacious private residences, larger homesites and individual outdoor living environments.

Private pools and outdoor living are prominent features of many Opus Stone residences. Homes can include resort-style pools and spas, expansive covered lanais, outdoor kitchens and substantial entertaining areas, allowing homeowners to create their own recreational environment without relying on shared facilities. Larger lots also provide more breathing room around the residences than buyers typically find in higher-density new-home communities.

The community's lakes, preserve areas and landscaping contribute to the residential setting, with homes positioned to capture a variety of water and natural views. The relatively limited number of residences further reinforces the neighborhood's intimate character and distinguishes Opus Stone from communities containing hundreds or thousands of homes.

The broader North Naples location effectively provides the lifestyle amenities outside the gates. Residents are convenient to shopping and dining along Vanderbilt Beach Road and Immokalee Road, with Mercato, Waterside Shops, Artis-Naples, golf and Gulf beaches accessible from the community. For buyers who prefer substantial private homes and outdoor living over a large shared amenity package, Opus Stone offers a compelling alternative.
