The brewery is led by Bill Vaughan, who has extensive brewing experience and a love for quality beer. Together with his wife, Heather, and sister, Amy, Bill aims to create a friendly place for both locals and visitors to enjoy good beer and company.

The transition from Riptide Brewing has gone smoothly, with Bill keeping the original staff to maintain a familiar feel for returning customers. The community has embraced this change, supporting the brewery for nearly nine years. Bill’s background in the Southwest Florida craft beer scene, along with his time as a head brewer at various local breweries, gives him a unique insight into brewing and community connections.

At Kaleidoscope, you can look forward to a rotating selection of beers, from traditional English ales to hoppy IPAs. Bill plans to have around 15 to 20 taps, focusing on a variety of flavors. He’s particularly excited about introducing an Irish red and trying out seasonal recipes, so there’s always something new to taste. The brewery will also offer small-batch bottling and canning, allowing guests to take home unique brews.

The Vaughans are committed to making Kaleidoscope a cozy spot for the neighborhood. They’re currently rebranding the space to create a warm, inviting atmosphere where friends can gather. The regular hours are noon to 10 p.m. from Monday to Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. on Sundays, with plans to stay open later during the busy season.
