If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to work with me in real estate, let me give you the inside scoop. Think of this as your “user manual” ... equal parts professional strengths, honest admissions, and a sprinkle of humor.
Because in real estate, the right fit between client and agent can make all the difference.
Working With Me: My Strengths (a.k.a. Why You’ll Be Glad I’m on Your Side)
Extreme Dedication & Responsiveness
If you’re my client, you’re my client. I’m not the type to win your business and then disappear while someone else takes over. I don’t hand you off to a junior associate unless there’s an unavoidable conflict - and even then, it’s only if I truly believe it’s in your best interest. When you call, text, or email, you get me, not a middle layer of “gatekeepers.” I respond, often faster than is reasonable for one human being, because I know that in real estate, timing can make or break opportunities. Whether it’s answering a late-night question about a contract clause or catching a brand-new listing the moment it hits the market, my responsiveness isn’t just about being nice—it’s about protecting your position and making sure you never miss a beat.

A Strong Grasp of the Market
Naples is my backyard (figuratively… though I don’t mind that is is also literally). I know the market inside and out, from pricing trends to which neighborhoods match your lifestyle. My background includes highly analytical roles, like serving as a GE Six Sigma Black Belt, and an MBA which means I’m trained to dig deep into comprehensive data, spot patterns, and interpret the numbers in a way that leads to smart, strategic decisions. Whether it’s evaluating comparable sales, identifying market shifts, or weighing the pros and cons of different investment options, I bring both local knowledge and a data-driven edge to the table.
Powerful Relationships
This business isn’t just about contracts, it’s about connections. In real estate, the people you know (and the relationships you’ve nurtured) can be just as important as the paperwork you sign. Over the years, I’ve built strong, trust-based relationships with other agents, reputable vendors, meticulous inspectors, reliable lenders, and top-notch service professionals. That network often means my clients get early access to listings before they officially hit the market, fast-tracked appointments with in-demand contractors, and candid insights from industry pros who pick up the phone when I call. These connections don’t just make the process smoother, they can open doors, solve problems quickly, and sometimes even help negotiate better terms. In short, my relationships give my clients an edge that can’t be replicated by simply scrolling online listings.
Deep Understanding of Contracts
I’ve read more fine print than most people have read novels, and enjoyed it more than I probably should admit. I know how to spot the subtle details that can make or break a deal, and I use that knowledge to protect your interests every step of the way. Over the years, I’ve also volunteered with the Naples Area Board of REALTORS®, which has given me an extra layer of insight into contract language, industry standards, and the practical application of our rules and forms. My goal is not only to ensure that every “i” is dotted and “t” is crossed, but also to make sure you understand what you’re signing, without the legalese headache. I translate complex terms into plain language so you feel informed, confident, and in control. Just remember, I am not an attorney and not allowed to do work of an attorney.
Creative, Strategic Marketing
With experience marketing and years as a senior executive in the Corporate world, I know how to craft strategies that make an impact. When selling, that means your property doesn’t just “go on the market”- it’s launched with a carefully thought-out plan designed to capture attention, spark emotion, and compel action. From professional photography and targeted digital campaigns to compelling property descriptions and strategic pricing, I ensure your home stands out in a crowded marketplace. But the benefits go far beyond the marketing itself. For sellers, my ability to position a property effectively can translate into more showings, stronger offers, and better final terms. For buyers, these same skills help in presenting you as a credible, serious contender in multiple-offer situations, making sure your offer is noticed, respected, and competitive. And for both sides, my executive-level experience means I approach negotiations, timelines, and problem-solving with the same precision and foresight I used when leading high-stakes corporate projects. In short, my marketing expertise isn’t just about making things look good... it’s about making things happen.
Negotiating Skills (The Big League Kind)
Before real estate, I negotiated billion-dollar deals, yes, with a “b.” Those high-stakes experiences honed my ability to think strategically, stay calm under pressure, and find creative solutions when the stakes are high. On top of that, I hold the CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert) designation, which means I’ve completed specialized training in negotiation techniques that go far beyond the basics. Whether it’s fine-tuning the purchase price, securing favorable repair terms, or structuring an offer that outshines the competition, I approach every negotiation with skill, data, and a clear plan. Trust me - your purchase price or repair request doesn’t intimidate me. In fact, I see it as an opportunity to put my training and experience to work so you walk away with the best possible outcome.
Considerate, Patient Guidance
I listen...really listen, not just to the words you say, but to what’s behind them. Sometimes buyers can’t fully articulate exactly what they’re looking for, and that’s okay. My job is to pick up on the cues, ask the right questions, and connect the dots so we uncover what you truly want and need. Along the way, I may suggest options or neighborhoods you hadn’t considered, because sometimes the perfect fit isn’t the one you initially pictured. I also respect your pace, whether you’re ready to move quickly or need time to think things through. I guide without pushing, offering my professional insight while always leaving the final decision in your hands. You’ll always know I’m here to protect your best interests - not just to “get the deal done,” but to make sure the deal you do get is one you’ll feel great about long after closing.
In It for the Long Haul
For me, real estate isn’t a one-and-done transaction. It’s the start (or continuation) of a relationship. I’m relationship-focused, which means I measure my success not just by closing deals, but by being a trusted resource for years to come. Long after the commission check clears, I’m still here to help, whether you need a contractor referral, market insight, advice on a remodel, or simply a friendly check-in to talk about your next move. Many of my clients become repeat clients and even friends because they know I’m invested in their long-term success and happiness, not just the immediate sale.
Capable Beyond Real Estate
Before real estate, I held big, strategic roles in my corporate life, leading teams and managing major initiatives. I chose this career because I believe buying or selling a home is one of the most important life events you’ll ever experience - and I wanted to bring my skills to a place where they could make a personal impact. My background means I can handle complex situations with ease, think strategically under pressure, and see the bigger picture while still obsessing over the details.
Working With Me: My Quirks (a.k.a. What I’m Not Great At, and Why That’s OK)
Overselling Just to Close a Deal
Not my style. You’ll always get truth and transparency from me, even if it means advising you not to buy or sell right now. I’m here to help you make the right decision for your circumstances, not the right decision for my paycheck. If the numbers don’t make sense, if the timing isn’t right, or if I think you could be better served by waiting, I’ll tell you exactly that. My role is to be your advocate, your sounding board, and sometimes even the person who talks you out of making a move you might regret later. That said, I’ll admit this is one of my quirks, I can be a bit blunt. I never want to be off-putting, but I won’t pump sunshine where it doesn’t belong. I believe my clients deserve honesty, even if it’s not sugar-coated, because in the long run, candor is far more valuable than flattery. P.S. I know when to back off too, so don’t be too afraid of this quirk.
Last-Minute Changes
I will always make time for my clients, but I give a lot of myself to each one, and that level of dedication works best when I can plan ahead. My calendar is carefully managed so I can be fully present and prepared for every showing, meeting, or call. Last-minute changes. I’ll do my best to accommodate them, but I can’t always pull off miracles, unless caffeine counts, in which case I might have a fighting chance. The truth is, when things are planned, I can give you my absolute best. When they’re thrown in last-minute, I’ll still show up or find a solution and give it my all, but it may take some creative juggling behind the scenes. Being proactive together ensures that you get the most from me without either of us scrambling.
Driving While Explaining Communities
I know the neighborhoods. I can tell you which communities have the best golf courses, which ones have pickleball courts, and where you’ll find the best sunset views, but I can’t give you a detailed play-by-play, navigate traffic, and make sure we don’t miss our turn all at once. So yes, I unapologetically use GPS… not because I’m lost, but because I want my brainpower focused on you and our conversation, not on guessing whether this is the exit or the next one. It’s multitasking with a purpose: keeping our drive safe, efficient, and distraction-free, while making sure you get my full attention instead of a sudden, “Oops, that was our turn back there.”
Grammar Perfection
You’ll notice the occasional typo in an email or text - maybe a missing comma, an autocorrect mishap (thank you, voice dictation, which I use a lot), or a word my phone thought I wanted to use. That’s not because I don’t care or lack attention to detail. It’s because I’m often working all hours of the day, from all kinds of places - sometimes in my car between showings, sometimes in a coffee shop, sometimes at 10 p.m. from my couch - so I prioritize getting you timely information over perfect punctuation. If you spot a little grammar hiccup in a quick text or a rushed email, know it’s just the byproduct of my responsiveness and commitment to keeping you informed in real time. And please, if something ever seems unclear or (God forbid) inaccurate, I am human, let me know. We’re a team, and I’ll always clarify or correct as needed.
Small Talk & Big Parties
I’m a bit of an introvert (yes, that surprises people, apparently my energy and enthusiasm in real estate make me seem like a natural extrovert). The truth is, I genuinely enjoy connecting with people, but big social gatherings can be a little draining after a while. So by all means, invite me to your events... I’ll truly appreciate it and do my best to be there. I love celebrating milestones, catching up, and being part of your important moments. Just don’t be surprised if I’m in the first wave of guests to head out. I’m a “have fun, hug everyone, soak up the atmosphere, and then quietly slip out before the party shuts down” kind of person. It’s not because I’m not enjoying myself - it’s simply because I recharge best in smaller, more low-key settings (often with my family or a good book).
Memory for Details (and the Occasional Blank Spot)
I have an excellent memory for the things that matter most in a transaction - property details, market stats, contract deadlines, and all those little nuances that can make or break a deal. But I’ll admit, every now and then my brain decides to take an unscheduled coffee break on other details, like a name I should know instantly, a restaurant someone recommended last week, or the title of that great show you told me to watch. The good news? I’m hyper-organized and have built systems, processes, and even a few handy automations to keep me on track. If I don’t recall something right away, chances are I have it documented somewhere I can find in seconds. So while I might occasionally have a “what was that again?” moment, nothing important ever slips through the cracks when it comes to your real estate journey.
Positivity with Backbone
I’m generally a happy, positive, glass-half-full kind of person, and I approach life (and real estate) with a can-do attitude. But please don’t mistake my upbeat personality for being naïve. When a situation calls for it, I can be tough as nails, whether that’s holding firm in negotiations, protecting your best interests in a sticky inspection, or pushing back when terms aren’t right. I’ll smile while I’m doing it, but make no mistake, I know when to stand my ground.
OCD Tendencies (The Productive Kind)
While not clinical, I do lean toward being very structured and organized - maybe a little more than most. In real estate, that’s 99% a strength. It keeps transactions moving smoothly, deadlines met, and details buttoned up. It also means I have a thing about punctuality and commitment. Don’t laugh if I text you because I’m running five minutes late - that’s just how I am. When I commit to being somewhere at a certain time, I mean it.
Little Patience For Waste
I’m deeply dedicated to my clients and pour a tremendous amount of energy, expertise, and resources into every transaction. But I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of working with people who have no real intention of allowing us to get paid for the work we do. Real estate is a business built on trust, mutual respect, and, yes, a shared goal of getting to the closing table. When I commit to working with you, I’m all in - researching, negotiating, marketing, and guiding you through the process step-by-step. I work best with people who value that commitment and who understand that my time, just like theirs, is an investment. If you’re serious about buying or selling, I’ll give you everything I’ve got - my market knowledge, my connections, my negotiating skills, and my full attention. But if the intention isn’t there from the start, or if the relationship is built on vague “maybes” rather than a clear path forward, it’s simply not a good fit. I’m here to work hard for you, but we both need to be rowing in the same direction.
Why This Matters to You
When you work with me, you get the real deal - strengths, quirks, GPS reliance, and all. I’ll be in your corner from start to finish, guiding you through the process with skill, honesty, and a little humor to keep us sane.
Fit matters in real estate. Just like you want the right home, I want the right working relationship. The best results come when we’re a good match in communication style, expectations, and mutual trust. That’s why I will always show up as my true, authentic self from the very beginning - what you see is what you get. And I’ll count on you to do the same so we can gauge our fit before we get too far into investing our time and energy. If we both feel confident that we can work well together, that’s when the magic happens. Because at the end of the day, real estate is about trust, relationships, and results - and I’m here to deliver all three.
