ABOUT EMERALD LAKES

Emerald Lakes is an established North Naples community of 525 residences, including 145 single-family homes and 380 condominiums, arranged around two lakes and more than 100 acres of natural preserves. Located off Airport-Pulling Road near Vanderbilt Beach Road, the community combines a central North Naples location with an unusually spacious natural setting. Sidewalks, mature landscaping and expansive water views create an inviting neighborhood environment, while shopping, dining, beaches, cultural destinations and everyday conveniences are all readily accessible.

The residential mix provides buyers with distinctly different ownership options. Single-family homes offer private homesites, garages and individual outdoor living areas, with private pools found at some properties. The condominium residences are located within several village associations and offer a lower-maintenance alternative, with floor plans, parking arrangements and association responsibilities varying by section. Because Emerald Lakes is an established community, individual properties range from more original residences to extensively renovated homes, making condition, hurricane protection, mechanical updates and interior improvements important considerations when comparing properties.

One of Emerald Lakes' most distinctive features is its 55-acre lake, which is not simply decorative. Residents can enjoy fishing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding from the community dock, adding a recreational dimension rarely found in a non-golf residential community. A clubhouse, two swimming pools, fitness facilities, tennis, pickleball, bocce, basketball and picnic areas provide additional ways to enjoy the neighborhood without the expense or structure of a private country club.

Why People Like the Emerald Lakes Community

  • 525 Residences With Two Housing Choices: Single-family homes and condominiums provide options for buyers seeking different levels of space, privacy and maintenance.

  • Exceptional Lake Setting: The community's large 55-acre lake provides both attractive views and opportunities for non-motorized water recreation.

  • More Than 100 Acres of Natural Preserves: Significant preserve areas add greenery and open space to the community environment.

  • Two Swimming Pools: Residents have access to the main lakeside pool at the clubhouse as well as a second Cabana Pool.

  • Water Recreation: Fishing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding provide an unusual recreational option within the neighborhood.

  • Variety of Sports: Tennis, pickleball, bocce and basketball complement the pool, fitness and lake activities.

  • Central North Naples Location: Vanderbilt Beach Road and Airport-Pulling Road provide convenient access to beaches, Mercato, Waterside Shops, dining, shopping and other Naples destinations.

What You Need to Know About Living in Emerald Lakes

  • There Are Multiple Associations: Homeowners belong to the Master Residents Association as well as the individual association applicable to their neighborhood or condominium village. Fees, maintenance responsibilities and other obligations can therefore vary by property.

  • Single-Family and Condominium Ownership Are Very Different: Exterior maintenance, insurance, parking, private outdoor space and other responsibilities depend significantly on the type of residence.

  • Condominium Villages Can Differ: Buyers should evaluate the specific condominium association's budget, reserves, insurance, maintenance responsibilities and governing documents rather than assuming all Emerald Lakes condominiums operate identically.

  • Homes Vary in Condition: Individual properties range from more original residences to substantially renovated homes. Windows and doors, hurricane protection, mechanical systems and interior improvements should be evaluated property by property.

  • Not Every Residence Has the Same View: Lake, preserve and landscaped settings create different outlooks and levels of privacy throughout the community.

  • Rental and Pet Rules Should Be Verified: Requirements may vary by residential section, so buyers should review the current documents applicable to the specific property.

EMERALD LAKES AMENITIES

The Emerald Lakes clubhouse overlooks the community's 55-acre lake and serves as the central recreational and gathering area. Inside, residents have access to a full kitchen, fitness room, library, billiards, ping pong and seating areas for meetings and social activities. The clubhouse opens onto the main swimming pool and lakeside recreation area.

The lake itself is one of Emerald Lakes' most distinctive amenities. A community dock provides access for fishing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding, allowing residents to use the water for recreation rather than simply enjoying it as a view.

Emerald Lakes has two swimming pools, including the main pool at the clubhouse and the Cabana Pool located within the Villages on Esmeralda Way. Outdoor recreation also includes tennis, pickleball, bocce and basketball courts, along with picnic areas and sidewalks throughout the community.

Together, the lakes, preserves, water recreation, swimming, fitness and court sports give Emerald Lakes an unusually diverse amenity offering for a community without golf or mandatory private-club membership. The combination of these amenities with both single-family and condominium living makes Emerald Lakes a distinctive option in central North Naples.
