What You Need to Know
High Point is predominantly an active adult 55+ community, requiring at least one occupant per unit to be 55 years of age or older, though visiting children are always welcome.
Generally, pets are not permitted for owners, renters, or visitors in most High Point residences, though specific rules may vary slightly by individual building associations.
All leases must be in writing and receive prior approval from the Association. Units may be leased a maximum of one time per year, with a minimum lease term of 90 days.
Parking is restricted to assigned spaces, with each unit typically allowed two vehicles; the second vehicle can be parked in a designated guest spot. Commercial vehicles, trucks, and motorcycles are not allowed.
Residents are required to keep noise to a minimum, observing quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all.
Alterations to the exterior appearance of common areas or the installation of any additions require prior written approval from the Board of Directors, and items should not be hung or displayed from balconies or stairwells. Outdoor cooking is limited to designated BBQ areas.
Trash and wet garbage are collected on Tuesday and Friday mornings, with recyclables picked up early Friday morning; items should be placed curbside on collection day.
Homeowners are responsible for the maintenance of their unit's air conditioning, compressors, hot water heaters, and internal water pipes, and it is recommended to shut off the water supply when leaving for extended periods.
